Die Oranienburger Death Metal Band Brutal Kraut wurde im Jahr 2012 von den zwei Brüdern Rouven (Gitarre, Gesang) &
Marlin Constantin (Drums) gegründet.
Nach vielversprechenden Jams sowie daraus entstandenen Songs entschloss man sich, den Gitarristen Lukas Ludwig in die Band zu holen. Auch am Bass fand man nach einigem Hin und Her die Optimalbesetzung in Form von Henry Ludwig,
dem Bruder von Lukas Ludwig.
Brutal Kraut veröffentlichte im Jahr 2014 die erste Demo "Demo 2014". Im Jahre 2015 enterte man das Pivo Studio in Berlin und nahm dort die erste EP "3 Pieces" auf. Wiederum ein Jahr später (2016) ging die Band nochmals in das Pivo Studio. Diesmal wurde das erste Album unter der Regie von Ulf Scheel, der auch Mix und Master übernommen hat, eingespielt.
Das selbstbetitelte Debüt-Album erschien am 10.03.2018.
Vorab wurde bereits die Single-Auskopplung
„Layers of Mind“ veröffentlicht.
Dies geschah über den „A Lick of Death“ Sampler,
der im Sommer 2017 erschien.
Das Debüt Album wurde nach Veröffentlichung
deutschlandweit live präsentiert.
Direkt nach Veröffentlichung des Debüt-albums machte sich die Band an die Arbeit um neue Songs zu schreiben. Während den Vorbereitungen zum zweiten Album Ende 2019 beschloss
Lukas Ludwig die Band zu verlassen.
Seitdem ist man als Dreiergespann unterwegs.
Im April 2020 starteten die Aufnahmen für das kommende Album,
"Progression in Madness", Veröffentlichung ist der 13.11.2020.
The Death metal band Brutal Kraut was formed in 2012 by the brothers Rouven (Guitar, vocals) and Marlin Constantin (drums).
After many promising rehearsals, resulting in writing songs the band decided to get a second guitar player - Lukas Ludwig. After some time his brother Henry Ludwig joined the band to take over Bass duties, getting the band to its optimal constellation.
Brutal Kraut released their first demo in 2014. In 2015 they entered the Pivo studio in Berlin to record the first EP "3 pieces." Being very happy with the result, the band decided to enter the Pivo studio again in 2016 to record the first full-length album together with producer Ulf Scheel, who also did mixing and mastering. The self-titled debut album was released on 10.03.2018.
Brutal Kraut was also involved in the first „A lick of death“ sampler which was released in Summer 2017.
The debut album was promoted throughout several concerts in germany after its release.
Immediately after the release of the debut album, the band started to work on new songs. During the preparations for the second album at the end of 2019, Lukas Ludwig decided to leave the band. Since then Brutal Kraut is playing as a 3-piece.
The recordings for the upcoming album "Progression in Madness" started in April 2020 and it will be released on 13.11.2020.
